About Traci

Traci Blalock Phillips is a licensed minister in the African Methodist Episcopal church.  She is an author, radio host, wife, mother and grandmother.  Minister Blalock Phillips accepted her call into the ministry and is diligently committed to pursuing God’s purpose for her life for God’s people. She is a major intercessor and spiritual warrior in Christ.  Minister Blalock Phillips attributes the pervasive ills in society to the body of believers. “It is our own spiritual deficiencies as Christians that affects our delivery system.  We can’t save souls if we’re not right within.” She believes that God’s church is the most important tool for change.  As an agent of change, her compassion for the wounded, motivational techniques and personal testimony supply her with effective tools for a world wide  ever-evolving ministry.

Minister Blalock Phillips received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee, Florida and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Divinity at Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. Her professional career includes over 20 years of experience as an educator and state department grant administrator. She is the Founder/Executive Director of Chasing A Better You Ministries, Inc.  Minister Blalock Phillips is a member of the ministerial staff at Oak Grove A.M.E. Church.  Civic memberships include Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. and the Michigan Literary Network.
